Some Random Cuteness

These are some older pictures that got lost in the Halloween shuffle. I thought I would share them now because they are some of my favorites.

************
PJ King
He is just showing off in his new pjs and King (from Pixar's Cars) socks. The socks are huge so we put them on the outside and Matt called them his boots. He was dancing and giving me a HUGE cheese face.

************
Growing Too Fast
This outfit made me realize just how big he is getting. He just looks like a big boy. He is growing up and seeing him like this hit me hard. I think my eyes got a little teary.

************
Boomer Sooner Boogie
I am aware that we lost this past week, but who cares. Matt still looks really stinkin' cute in these pictures!
What were you thinking???

Touchdown Sooners!
(not in this last game though...Boo)

Sweet and Sour Video
This is Matt eating a Warhead, very sour candy, that he got on Halloween. He picked it out we the wonderful parents we are thought we should tape it. It is not focused because I was the camera person. It is still fun to watch though.

Wild Animals on the Loose???

OH WAIT...
It is just Matt and Harry!

They look so sweet here
and quiet and still.
Who knew Matt could be so still?

Being Silly Monkeys

Watching for Nemo
Matt and I met Kristin and Harry at the Zoo yesterday. It was a lot of fun! There was a slight incident involving Matt and a lion.

There is a huge thick glass wall that people can walk right up to and see the lions up close and personal. Only the glass separates the two. We were walking off from looking at the lions when we noticed them playing with each other. So Matt watches and gets interested in a soda machine instead. Not sure why, but this caught one lion's eye. She was fixed on Matt so we pointed this out to him. Matt ran up to the glass to see the lion check him out. As Matt started toward the glass the lion wiggled her but and pounced. Thank goodness for the glass or Matt would have been jumped by this huge lion. Matt screamed and ran right into my arms.
It took me going up to the glass with Matt to show him the lion was playing just like Tobi does. The lion nuzzled and licked the glass. Matt thought that was funny, but he also had a death grip on my shirt.

This was one moment I wished I had my camera out and ready to go. The lion pouncing and Matt face were priceless. I think this will be something that sticks with him for awhile and we will probably have to skip the lion exhibit the next couple of visits to the zoo.

This was the day before.
I baked a cake and Matt
helped me lick the beater.

Pumpkin Patch 2009

We went to the pumpkin patch again this year. Matt was a little more brave than last year. He actually rode on a pony. AJ was on vacation so he got to come with us and we met Aunt Kristin and cousin Harry out there. I think we all had a great time!

There are a lot of pictures so enjoy and don't miss the video. It is in the middle under Matt and Harry walking through the corn maze!

Getting the boys away from the sandpit was
was fun. They both have one at home, but
I guess boys are just drawn to dirt.

Kristin and I showing the boys
how to potato sack race. I bit it hard. It was
fun though. Kristin won both races.

Matt is getting hog tided by Harry.
AJ gave the boys this idea.

Here we are going out to the corn maze

The Corn Maze
This was more fun than last year.
Matt was braver and the corn was higher

Matt vs the Buffalo

Hope you all had a WONDERFUL and safe Halloween!!! This is our new favorite picture of Matt. He just looks so sweet and grown-up!
Grandmama called the other day and told us where to find this cute Buffalo. SO I thought, "Let's dress Matt up in his cute skeleton pjs (thank you Aunt Katie) and take a picture." Matt loves all the buffalos around Oklahoma so I did not think this would be any different. I was wrong. I guess a big skeleton buffalo is a little scarier than a nice one painted with flowers.
"I need to keep my eye on this thing."

"Nope! Don't like it!!"

Mom:"It's ok Matt. It is not
real and will not move. I promise."

A cute side glance, but
Matt is still not looking.

"I AM..."
"OUT OF HERE!!!
I still don't like it!"

"Maybe if I look him in the eye,
he will know not to mess with me."

Ta-Da
"I'm standing in front.
Hurry and take the picture"

Finally got a decent picture
