Life Boogie-Style is Good

Reading in the empty bathtub with clothes on.

Taking pictures with a camera Mom and Dad don't
freak out about him actually holding.

Dress anyway he wants and pulls it off nicely.

Playing at the park with Dad.

Watching football on a lazy Sunday afternoon.

Whip cream first thing in the morning.

Boys and Their Toys

Matt enjoying being behind the wheel.

Grandpa loving on Matt, who is loving on the car.

Grandpa Chuck came over for lunch the other day. When he was leaving Matt followed him out and was very impressed with Grandpa's car. Grandpa wanting to show Matt something cool put the top down and let him behind the wheel. (The car was not turned on of course) I guess it shows you that boys are never too young (or old) to appreciate a Mustang convertible.

3 Punkins

3Punkins!
(One is in my purse though)

I was looking at Harry's Blog and the pumpkin patch looked really fun, so we went too. Through out the day we told Matt that we were going to pick out pumpkins and he kept saying "3 punkins" He also kept saying "Jack, Lucy, Jack, Jack, Lucy" So I called Bill and Jack and Lucy were in for the adventure. Bill also recruited Kristin Winterrowd and her gang. It was tons of fun and tons of pictures!

Matt was a little unsure about the goats
He let Dad and Mom do most of the feeding.

Dad and Matt in the corn maze

Can you see me???
This really freaked Matt out. I guess he
thought I might get stuck that way.

Everyone enjoyed the hayride.

Matt kept one eye on the huge kitty at all times.

Matt and I going down the big fun slide.

The awesome dirt pile at the bottom.
I think my wonderful big brother
got an after shot of my dirty pants.
Sorry I don't have that to share.

Cowboy Matt on the hay.

Climbing the Fence

Enjoying a Wheelbarrow Ride with Cousin Jack
(and neither strong Dad or Uncle Bill offered to push
good thing these boys are light)

As you can see Matt had a wonderful time.
(Despite the picture below)

I think we were all a little tired at this point!

Autumn Afternoons

I just like this picture.
It looks like Matt is just saying "Hey" to every one.

These past few days here in Oklahoma have just been absolutely beautiful, AJ has been on vacation, and Sooner Football is in full swing. Could you ask for anything more?
AJ, Matt, and I went to the zoo Friday. It was pretty packed and I guess we have fall break to thank for that. It did not matter much though because Matt was only interested in two things. We went to see Nemo (The Clown Fish) and the swing.
As for football we had a full house Saturday. Les, Janice, Melissa, CJ, and Sandy (Les' Cousin) came over to watch the game. Matt and CJ had a blast playing with trains and cars, and during half-time Janice and I took the boys to the park.

What a good Dad. I think he pushed Matt for a good 30 minutes.

Snack Time Serious Stuff

All Aboard!

For these few pictures we need to give credit where credit is due. First we have to mention Aunt Katie. She got Matt hooked on trains and even more so Thomas. Thank you Aunt Katie. It might have happened either way, but really going to Minneapolis and playing with Tyler's trains and seeing Thomas is what did him in.
Second is Nana, aka Victoria. The hat was all her doing witch has made for even more fun choo-choo adventures. The hat also just makes Matt look ridiculously cute! Thank you Nana.

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOU!

AJ had a meeting in Norman on Monday so we thought we would take Matt to campus and let him run around. We didn't get a lot of pictures because he was running all the time, but he did slow down for the the fountain. He thought he would take a bath in it. He found OU everywhere people's clothes and trash cans. He would run up and say OOOOOOOOOU. He also had fun chasing the squirrels and tried many times to give them high-five. I was frightened that one might jump out and land on his face. They let him get really close to them. It was a good day and our little Sooner had a blast!

Matt & Harry

Harry came and played with us last Wednesday, and him and Matt had a blast. I turn around and Harry gets into the strangest places. He ended up in our toy box that day. Matt thought it looked like fun so he tried it too. Then we went to Harry's and they had fun playing in the sand. It was a fun day!

Day Out with Thomas OKC

Another Day out with Thomas. I have to thank Aunt Katie for hooking Matt on this Thomas obsession. You know that means you need to help with keeping him in stock now. We will return the favor though I am sure for Tyler.
We heard Thomas was making his way to OKC so we had to go. This time Dad rode the train with Matt. Harry and Paul came too. I think Matt had a blast and yes he got another choo-choo on his arm. It will probably be there for another 6 weeks before it comes off.

I love this picture of Harry jumping. The boys had fun jumping on one another.

I am a little glad I did not ride the train
because this might have freaked me out a bit.
Seeing my son sticking his head out the window.
Dad did get good footage though this way.
Way to go Dad!
You are your father's son. Anything for a good shot!
