Christmas Times Eight!

This year was more fun than last with Matt. He really liked opening presents and didn't get to terribly cranky. I know the title says times eight, but I only had the sense of mind to take pictures at five of them. That is over half so I think I won that! Go Me! Enjoy our Christmas adventures.

It looks like Uncle Bill and Kristy know exactly what Matt likes.

Christmas Morning!
Santa came to see all of us because we were all good this year.

Sophie and Ava are off somewhere.
Of course the ones Sophie and Ava are in Matt ran away,
so this was the best shot with Matt.

Oh What Ornament Fun!

Matt's Very Cool Ornament

Matt showing me his new "T-O-Y"
Matt does think Buzz is broken since he can't get him out of the box.

He is mad because I won't let him have the camera.
Poor Boogie!

Next morning still very excited to see his ornament.

AJ and I decided this year we would enjoy our ornaments on the tree instead of opening them as presents on Christmas. I may have talked him into it a little bit, but I really wanted Matt to enjoy his ornament. As you can see he does very much!

Then it was time for AJ and I to exchange our ornaments to each other. I am sure most of you will believe this because he and I really are this way. We got each other the same one. I guess that happens when you take Matt along and let him pick it out. AJ is going to keep it since it is way more a "Dad" ornament then a "Mom" one and we are going to go to the store and pick mine out together.

*** I had a picture of mine and AJ's ornaments next to each other because I thought it was cute, but stupid blogger is taking forever to upload one stinking picture. So everyone will have to go without seeing our cuteness this time***

My Apologies...

Hello All-

I want you to know for the record I have not forgotten about the blog. I actually have some pictures that I just need to upload on the computer. Our Minnesota trip was wonderful, but we never took out our camera. That is why I don't have any on our blog. However you can go to Katie's blog (it is under Tyler in my other bloggers section) to see all the fun filled family time had by Matt.
Getting home and getting settled with the holiday season has been a little more difficult than I thought. Also having AJ home all the time (I am not complaining. I love it!) has put the blog on the back burner. However he will have to start going back to campus soon (at least for 1/2 days) and Boogie Planet will be back up and running again.

Sorry for the lull-

Matt and Tyler's Sleepover

Now Matt and Tyler have had many sleepovers before, mainly at Tyler's house. This one is special though because it was at Matt's house with NO Mom for Tyler. It took some convincing, but AJ and I managed to get Tyler away from Katie. As you can see he had tons of fun and great quality time with Cousin Matt!

Bath Time

Teamwork at its best

Tyler and Matt enjoying a story

Matt's not ready to go to bed.

Tired Boys

Tyler is ready

Matt is not so ready, but he didn't fight the sleep too bad.

the camera away from Matt.

Breakfast a la AJ

Looking for Mom???

No
Just wanted to play with trucks outside
while his buddy Matt was napping.

Mom did show up shortly after we went outside though and Tyler was happy to see her.
It was a fun night and day for the boys and we are looking forward to seeing them again soon!

Life Boogie-Style is Good

Reading in the empty bathtub with clothes on.

Taking pictures with a camera Mom and Dad don't
freak out about him actually holding.

Dress anyway he wants and pulls it off nicely.

Playing at the park with Dad.

Watching football on a lazy Sunday afternoon.

Whip cream first thing in the morning.

Boys and Their Toys

Matt enjoying being behind the wheel.

Grandpa loving on Matt, who is loving on the car.

Grandpa Chuck came over for lunch the other day. When he was leaving Matt followed him out and was very impressed with Grandpa's car. Grandpa wanting to show Matt something cool put the top down and let him behind the wheel. (The car was not turned on of course) I guess it shows you that boys are never too young (or old) to appreciate a Mustang convertible.

3 Punkins

3Punkins!
(One is in my purse though)

I was looking at Harry's Blog and the pumpkin patch looked really fun, so we went too. Through out the day we told Matt that we were going to pick out pumpkins and he kept saying "3 punkins" He also kept saying "Jack, Lucy, Jack, Jack, Lucy" So I called Bill and Jack and Lucy were in for the adventure. Bill also recruited Kristin Winterrowd and her gang. It was tons of fun and tons of pictures!

Matt was a little unsure about the goats
He let Dad and Mom do most of the feeding.

Dad and Matt in the corn maze

Can you see me???
This really freaked Matt out. I guess he
thought I might get stuck that way.

Everyone enjoyed the hayride.

Matt kept one eye on the huge kitty at all times.

Matt and I going down the big fun slide.

The awesome dirt pile at the bottom.
I think my wonderful big brother
got an after shot of my dirty pants.
Sorry I don't have that to share.

Cowboy Matt on the hay.

Climbing the Fence

Enjoying a Wheelbarrow Ride with Cousin Jack
(and neither strong Dad or Uncle Bill offered to push
good thing these boys are light)

As you can see Matt had a wonderful time.
(Despite the picture below)

I think we were all a little tired at this point!
