FYI

Last week was a crazy and most fun week! Aunt Katie (AJ's sister) and Cousin Tyler were here. Matt and Tyler had so much fun together. He is just 2 weeks older than Matt so they just really got a long. There are no pictures here on our site though because wonderful Aunt Katie has already done it and she also took all the pictures. Relaxing Sunday Morning

Matt is ready for church and watching Mickey Mouse while Mom and Dad get ready. Also on Sundays he gets to eat in his room or I would be wearing my pjs to mass. This is my compromise eat and watch tv so I can look like a real person and not scare the other churchgoers.

Matt looks way to old in this outfit and it was one of my "he's no longer a baby" moments. 

He just looked like a little man to me ready to hit the town.

Then after church we head off to Grandma Gerry's for a relaxing swim

Enjoy this picture while it lasts because I think once Mom sees this it will be gone.

I like it though. It is one of my favorites of me and her.

 I just wish Matt was looking. 

 I am brave enough to have me in a swimsuit twice on the blog 

she should be able to handle one, but I am not betting on it.

A Day at The Park

We all went to the school across the street the other day and Matt had a blast. We raced cars down the slides and Matt went down them a few times too! 

Matt was running in the field having a blast until we realized it was infested with bumble bees!

It was not easy keeping him away, but we didn't want that day to be the day we find out if he is allergic or not.

You might be asking yourself, "What is that on Matt's face?" It is dirt and it is not Matt just being a boy. It is from Dad who thought Matt would have more fun coming down the slide on his own and land on his bottom. Guess what though? Matt did NOT land on his bottom. He caught some air and twisted and landed on his FACE! Thanks Dad!

He was fine though he thought it was fun. No tears just laughs and some very cute pictures.

Yummy Yummy Yum!

I made pudding the other day and while AJ and I don't share our pudding very well, we did let Matt lick the whisk. He loved it as you can see and kept coming back for more.  

PS: We did share our pudding a little bit!

Matt's Markings

This morning I got this idea that Matt would like to color with markers. So I put him in his highchair and let him go for it. I think he had a lot of fun and did a very good job of not getting it on himself. Except the hands but that just happens. My hands were dirty too after finishing coloring with him.

I think he might have gotten a bit in the mouth too, but nit much.

 So HOORAY for that!

Matt Montage

We have taken a lot of pictures lately and some really cute videos. Since I don't feel like making a separate blog for each occasion I am doing a montage of Boogie. Also I can't seem to figure out why I can't post a video right now so until I get that under control pictures are all I got. Sorry!

Ready to go swimming!

Just waiting on Dad to finish his video game. But honestly I think Matt could have sat there and watch AJ play and be just as satisfied. What is it with boys and their video games?

We had a bit of wind and Matt sleeps next to a window so I needed to

 move him.

We were ready for a tornado with our blankets set for the tub so I just put him on our most comfy blanket.

Matt didn't even notice me moving him to the hallway he slept through it all.

We lost power for the night and it was crazy, but thankfully no tornados and the blankets were not needed.

This is an attempt to get Matt to leave OUR computer alone. 

Uncle Bill needs a pitcher for the softball team so I have Matt practicing!

Napping in the Big Bed

Matt actually fell asleep in the car and we put him there. We are taking it a step at a time.

AJ and I just aren't ready to give up the crib.

Saving the day can take a lot out of a boy. Matt was ready to settle in with a good book after saving the kitty. Hooray for Super Boogie! Now sit back and relax with Mater and his friends.
