Easter Weekend Fun

I thought I would make this one big post. So get ready for a lot of pictures. The weekend started with a trip to the zoo. It was beautiful on Friday so we took advantage of it. Saturday we went to Grandma and Grandpa Vaughn's house. Gramps & GiGi were there and so were Aunt Christina and Cousin Maddy. We had a lot of fun blowing bubbles. It was cold Sunday morning, but we just bundled up and found our Easter Eggs that the Easter Bunny hid at Grandma Gerry's. We also celebrated AJ's birthday a day early since everyone was at Grandma's house. The last place we went was to Uncle Duff's house. It is way out there and that is how Matt got his nap. We saw Grandpa Chuck, but I left the camera in the car. (Bad Mom).  It was a very fun weekend though.

Oh AJ did turn 25 on Monday. Had his Dad and family along with my Dad over for dinner. It was a fun night with lots of little kids running around. AJ and I got a little glimpse of what it might be like to have 4 children in the house. We are looking forward to it, just not anytime soon. The night went great, but alas again too busy for pictures. So there are no pictures on my side of AJ's quarter of century milestone on the actual day. We got a few Sunday.

This day was just one of those days that I realized that Matt is no longer a baby. 

I looked at him with his red punk shirt and red converse and thought, "Oh My! How old you look Boogie." Then we went to the mall and he was running around leaving me to just watch. At last when we got home Dad thought it would be fun to put a backpack on him. 

One reminder after the other of him growing up and becoming more independent. A good thing! Right? Have to keep reminding my self it is.

What a Sneezy Guy!

Boogie+Ball+Beautiful Day=Outside All Day

This last Saturday was too beautiful to be inside. So Matt, AJ, and I took advantage of it. Me worried there was nothing to do outsidehas been asking for a slide, sandbox, or just about anything Matt could climb on. Silly me though I forget that a good bouncy ball is all a little boy needs.

I still think a slide would be fun, but thanks to the wonderful Kristin Winterrowd the sandbox is now taken care of. We just have to get sand. Those crafty people built a real sandpit, which means we get their old one. Hooray for hand-me downs!
