Painting for Fathers

Having a child has saved me so much money on greeting cards. I don't remember the last card I bought ever since Matt learned how to color and paint. He enjoys it, the recipient (usually a grandparent or parent) prefer it, and as I mentioned it keeps the cost down.

I know this is a few weeks late, but this is Matt hard at work painting father's day cards. Thanks buddy for taking care of that for me. Hooray for Matt and Hooray for Fathers! We love you all.

A Clear Picture

Here is a preview picture AJ and I took while playing with a new camera we thought we would buy. We were very impressed with the quality. Just wish Matt was in a better a mood for the picture. I deleted most of the other ones we took until AJ got irritated with me. I thought it was stealing since it was only our memory card and not our camera to actually keep the pictures we took. I guess I am silly, but we will have a lot more chances to get Matt in a better mood in the near future.

Stigler, OK the Happiest Place on Earth

For Father's Day weekend we went to visit AJ's grandparents in Stigler, OK. In the short time we were there Matt got to do just about everything he loves to do.

He got a balloon.

We had an ice cream sundae for lunch.

He hung out with his cousin Kyle, the saint.

year he wanted nothing to with it.

Bye-Bye Dinosaurs!

I am sad to say yesterday was the last day for the dinosaur exhibit at the zoo. The first time we went about two months ago Matt was terrified. The slightest roar after we left the zoo was cause for shakes and jumping right into my arms. However the more times we went, I think a total of 5, the more he put up with the big dinosaurs so he could play in the sandbox and jump in the moon bounce. Matt is going to miss these big robots and the fun they brought but he now has a new love and appreciation for dinosaurs.

He actually wanted to sit there, and he let me take his picture.

That is the middle of his super happy face by the way.

He is NOT screaming his head off.

That was a toy kids could play with while at the sandbox.

I think it became Matt new favorite toy, but he was

very good at leaving it so the daddy dino would not be sad.
