Busy Matt

* Shaving Cream Fun and Helping Dad*

Trying to find fun things to keep Matt busy. So I thought why not let him play with shaving cream. I think he Likes it for all of 5 minutes. But it was fun to see him go at it for those 5 minutes.

AJ got off early a couple of days and did some yard work. The first day he busted the blade. The second day he fixed the blade with his big helper and finished all the yard work. Not only did he keep Matt busy for the whole afternoon our front yard has never looked so good.

Feeding Some Geese

Matt and I went to the park and fed the geese and ducks there some healthy cereal. Who knew that bread wasn't all that good for them? I only took the cereal because it was what we had and the box was never opened, but over 2years old. No one in the house was going to take the chance of eating that so it went to the geese. They enjoyed it and Matt had a great time. So we were all winners.

One on One

Sleeping Boogie & Birthday Fun

This is Matt at age 1. He looks so sweet and worn out. I always used to love taking pictures of him sleeping because he could get in the strangest positions.

I walked into his room the other night and saw him laying horizontal in his bed with his arms over his head. He reminded me of that little little boy in the crib. I could not resist taking a picture.

Oh How They Grow!

It was my birthday a week or so go and my guys treated me like a princess. I got jewels, a crown, and a button. They also popped confetti at me like my very own ticker-tate parade. It was very fun. There is also the promise of a strawberry cake soon. At my latest whim whenever I want. That is awesome.
Back to Matt's sleeping habits. The other day I woke up because Strasky our very big cat was sleeping in my foot area. It was annoying and uncomfortable. I thought she even felt a little extra heavy. Well you probably guessed it...

Happy 4th July

Another fun kid parade in our neighborhood. We decorated Matt's tricycle and let him go. The neighborhood blocks off the street and all the kids ride. It is pretty fun! There is also ice cream sundaes and cookies so what more could you ask for. There is one thing I guess we forgot to ask for, "Please don't rain?"
